Master Your SKINS™: Fit, Care, and Size

Helpful Tip

Wear your new garment for 20 minutes before assessing the fit. Allowing the garment time to adjust to your body ensures that the fit is snug and supportive, without being too tight. See more on sizing HERE
Bunch It Up

Bunch It Up

Begin by bunching up the compression wear, just as you would with a tight or sock, to make it easier to slide on.
Slide On

Slide On

Carefully slide the bunched-up garment over your foot or hand, ensuring that it’s positioned correctly. Make sure the side seams aligns with the sides of your limb for proper fit and comfort.
Smooth It Out

Smooth It Out

Holding the bunched up garment in your hand, gradually unroll the fabric up your leg or arm, smoothing out any wrinkles or folds, and ensuring the seam remains aligned for optimal compression and support.
Washing Tips
  • Machine Wash Cold: Use cold water to maintain the fabric's integrity and compression benefits.
  • Use Mild Detergent: Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh chemicals that can damage the garment.
Drying Tips
  • Hang Dry: Air drying preserves the fabric’s elasticity and shape. Hang your garment in a shaded area away from direct sunlight.
  • Avoid Tumble Drying: Heat from a dryer can degrade the compression fibers and reduce the garment’s lifespan.
    Storage
Storage Tips
  • Store Hung or Folded: To prevent creasing and damage, hang your garment flat or fold it gently.
  • Keep Away from Heat: Store your garment in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

Size Up

Your garment should feel snug but not uncomfortably tight. It should provide firm support without restricting movement. If it feels too tight, consider sizing up.
